Educational Requirements:
∎ Honors/Masters in Anthropology, Gender studies, Development Studies/ or other relevant subject from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate designing and implementation of project activities for GESI for both host and FDMN communities under PRM- WASH and Nutrition-Food security project.
∎ Analyze implementation progress of the GESI interventions and ensure technical and strategic input for effective field operation.
∎ Conduct Gender GAP Analysis in project operational area within the scope of WASH and livelihood component.
∎ Provide technical advice, direction and support to the Technical Specialists in ensuring GESI, in all aspect of project implementation in both host and FDMN camps.
∎ Coach, train, mentor staff and organize trainings to elevate their knowledge and understanding on the issue of GESI.
∎ Ensure budget analysis, budget projection, cost efficiency and effective fund management that is relevant and within the jurisdiction of this position.
∎ Overall monitoring of the entire project through GESI lens on day to day basis, provide suggestions and feedback on where and how to improve
∎ Ensure supportive supervision and guidance to the subordinate staff.
∎ Work in collaboration with BRAC’s ‘Gender Justice and Diversity’ programme for knowledge sharing and technical assistance.
∎ Plan for timely purchase requisition in line with the project deliverables.
∎ Represent BRAC in any relevant thematic meetings with stakeholders and otherwise as needed;
∎ Any other responsibilities related to GESI, assigned by supervisor and senior management.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Demonstrated ability to think technically, prioritize and meet deadlines in a challenging environment; must be culturally sensitive.
∎ Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams.
