Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in private sector engagement, entrepreneurship development, or facilitating market linkages within development programs.
Strong academic foundation in areas related to economic development, gender inclusion, and program/project management.
Specialized coursework or certifications in entrepreneurship, private sector development, or workforce skills will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of gender dynamics, including issues of inequality and disparity, with demonstrated experience in engaging women, men, girls, and boys in inclusive economic growth initiatives.
Proven knowledge of the development sector, including hands-on experience in program design, budget planning, and monitoring of project activities.
Demonstrated experience in gender, social norms, climate justice, and women’s empowerment projects, with expertise in developing training curricula and modules.
Proven track record of work in the community people specially with marginalized groups particularly women.
Strong facilitation background including participatory planning, organizing and community mobilization.
Good listener, willingness to mentorship, team player, and can perform well under pressure.
Ability to coordinate with project partners, counterparts and other stakeholders.
Good communication skill in both verbal and written in Bangla and English.
Notable people management skills, budgeting, budget management, project planning etc.

Scope of Work:
Oporajita phase 1 builds on the successes of the initial phase, further strengthening the resilience of female workers in the ready-made garment (RMG) sector to navigate the evolving labor market. This phase will deepen and expand interventions to enhance women`s ability to respond to workplace transformations, economic shocks, and social challenges. The project continues to contribute to CARE’s broader dignified work for women economic justice, which focuses on improving working conditions, building worker capacity, and fostering an inclusive ecosystem within the RMG sector.
The Project Manager will assist in ensuring planning, organizing and implementation of Oporajita phase 2 activities in the project operation areas. This includes technical managerial guidance to operating the Women Friendly Spaces (WFSs) for smooth and effective planning and organizing the center based GBV services, psycho-social counseling, referrals for greater medical and legals as stipulated in the project operation plan. S/he will work closely with WFS Facilitators and Psychosocial Counselor for mobilizing community and create enabling environment so that the Collective Impact program will implement smoothly in the ground.
The Project Manager will play also a key role in fostering strategic partnerships with businesses, industry leaders specially RMG sector, and other key stakeholders to advance economic empowerment, skills development, and job placement (both self employment and wage employment) initiatives under the Oporajita (Phase 2): Just Transition for Women in the RMG Ecosystem. This role will drive collaboration between the private sector and development initiatives, ensuring sustainable employment pathways, particularly for women and marginalized communities. He/she will also support capacity-building efforts, facilitate market-driven solutions, and align project activities with evolving industry needs. The Project Manager will also lead the design and promotion of inclusive entrepreneurship models, enabling women and disadvantaged groups to launch and sustain small businesses in the RMG value chain and beyond. He/she will assist the Team Leader in identifying and implementing strategies on the ground, particularly with an aim to promote innovative solutions to ensure full participation of the project participants in the GBV related services, collaboration with other Oporajita partners, and factory-based soft skill training.
