Scope of the Role:
CARE Bangladesh as an implementing partner of WFP will implement a project titled ‘Green Skills Development in Rohingya Camps’. The project aims to scale up homestead-based gardening in 10500 HHs of several Rohingya Camps in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar as nutrition-sensitive programs to promote the consumption of nutrient-dense foods, such as vegetable growing, through sack/vertical gardening methods in community setups, including pond aquaculture, poultry and pigeon rearing, mushroom cultivation, seedling/sapling production, kitchen composting, ginger and turmeric cultivation etc. The project will also work on agricultural innovations in the camps.
The Technical Facilitator will be responsible for activity monitoring, training facilitation, monitoring, maintaining liaison with the camp administration, sectors, and coordination with the CiC office. One of the main responsibilities will be the cash and input distribution of the WFP-funded Green Skills project. He/she is also responsible for the recorded document and others related to the CBT (cash-based transfer) in coordination with the Technical Manager, Technical Officer, and Finance Officers. She/He needs to move to camp households regularly.
