Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direct supervision of Program Manager, Community Mobilization and the guidance of Head-BCC
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for providing necessary support and technical assistance in the design, development, production and distribution of SBCC materials and tools for ‘Notun Din’ community mobilization program under USAID supported MISHD Project.
∎ S/he will raise indent and follow-up procurement of SBCC materials for the community mobilization program and oversee the end use of the materials at the field level including record keeping and reporting.
∎ S/he will oversee Gold Star Members’ (GSMs) activities and capacity development of GSMs. In addition, the incumbent will assist in planning and executing of SBCC campaign through mass media and local media platforms. S/he will also coordinate with other stakeholders including GOB and follow-up GOB approval for SBCC materials.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Masters in Social Science/English/Marketing/Communications or any other relevant subjects
∎ At least 5 years experience in planning, monitoring and supervision of different health and family planning related programs focusing on SBCC activities
∎ Good supervision and monitoring skills on SBCC program activities
∎ Report writing skills, having good command over English, development and documentation of best practices, success stories and case studies
∎ Coordination and communication skills with GOB, implementing partners, vendors and various stakeholders
∎ Capable of monitoring Health & FP programs using appropriate checklist/tools
∎ Ability to design and develop SBCC/training materials; provide training to the field staff and rural women entrepreneurs (GSM) engaged in delivering health messages and selling SMC public health products
∎ Ability to undertake frequent field visits
