• Age At most 35 years

• Maximum 35 years’ age (may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates)

• At least 3 years’ experience in similar position with any diagnostic center/private clinic or hospital

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential Skills in record keeping and documentation are required

• Familiar with operating clinical software and excellent computer in MS Office application suite.

• The Medical Technologist (Lab) is responsible for performing all sorts of laboratory tests in the Clinic, following the guideline/Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

• Ensure lab safety by taking all required precautions to prevent the spread of infection at the testing site

• Ensure all blood samples have the client’s code number corresponding to the number in the client’s file and on the client’s card

• Ensure to maintain all lab registers, including test results, as per the approved guidelines, and to keep the laboratory form in the client folder

• Ensure that continuous supplies of all necessary test kits within the expiry period are available to the service

• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and test results, safeguard the dignity and privacy of patients

• Implement a lab quality system approach for internal quality assurance/control in the lab and testing process, and support external quality control for testing

• Prepare daily/monthly consumption report and update all required information, necessary documents, and other required supplies

• Collect samples from home as requested by the client and ensure delivery of the report in time
