Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Textile Engineering /Bachelor Degree/ Graduate/ Masters in any discipline.
∎ Professional training course in clothing production management, industrial engineering and quality management system.
∎ Skills Required: In-charge (Cutting/ Sewing/ Finishing/ Quality Floor etc.)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Direct and coordinate cutting, sewing, finishing & quality operations in accordance to the shift wise planned production schedule
∎ Formulate work schedules for the production team and communicate expected deliverables to achieve the production targets and objectives
∎ Ensure efficient utilization of resources i.e. materials, labour, equipment to meet production targets and objectives
∎ Exhibit knowledge of layout planning, production process management while maintaining production schedule to adhere to shipment timelines
∎ Ensure complete adherence to organization's quality standards and practices keeping in mind quality and compliance requirements of international buyers
∎ Track the defined KPIs to have complete view of the production activities and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure adherence to the plan
∎ Resolve production operational issues by providing technical expertise and insights to the team
∎ Ensure final product is in adherence to buyer requirements and specification
∎ Drive and implements inventory control and cost savings initiatives within the department to achieve overall cost savings target for the organization
∎ Identify development opportunities (skill development trainings, technical training requirements) for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the production staff for improving the overall production standards.
∎ Check line layout & operational breakdown.
∎ Follow up the availability of required machines, attachments and man power on time as style feeding plan.
∎ Develop efficient strategies that reduce production costs where possible.
∎ Candidate should have the shirts /blouse experience
∎ soft fabric handling experience
∎ minimum 10 years experience
∎ Candidate should have the handling power of 500 machine capacity
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Garments, Industrial Production Engineering, quality function, Woven Garments Factory Production Management
∎ Must have experience working for brands: Europe/ U.S.A etc
∎ Minimum 15 years' experience of working in garments factories engaged in business with world-class customers/brands out of which an experience of 10 years as a Production Manager, managing overall functions of 10 to 20 lines of woven garment factories for renowned brands/buyers
∎ Good communication skills including spoken & written English.
∎ Knowledge of internet & E-mail and other MS office.
∎ Leadership and motivation skills.
∎ Can do multi-tasking and work under pressure.
