Educational Requirements:

∎ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and graphic design tools.
∎ Strong understanding of ergonomic principles and human-centered design.
∎ Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and regulations related to medical furniture design.
∎ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
∎ Attention to detail and a strong ability to visualize concepts.
∎ Portfolio showcasing previous medical furniture design projects

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conceptualization and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, engineers, and manufacturers, to translate user needs and industry requirements into innovative and aesthetically pleasing medical furniture designs.
∎ Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and materials in the medical furniture industry. Conduct research to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in medical furniture design.
∎ Prototype Development: Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of medical furniture designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
∎ Ergonomics and Functionality: Ensure that all medical furniture designs are ergonomic, user-friendly, and optimized for the comfort of both patients and healthcare providers.
∎ Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials that adhere to healthcare regulations, safety standards, and budget constraints while maintaining durability and aesthetics.
∎ Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility and practicality of design concepts during the production process.
∎ Quality Control: Participate in design reviews and quality control processes to ensure the final product aligns with the approved design specifications.
