∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
general items, printing and packaging, Supply Chain, textile chemical, Textile Spare Parts
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all purchase and procurement from local & foreign sources in according to companies’ policies & requirements.
∎ Purchase garments & textile production raw materials like Yarn, Chemicals, Machineries spare parts, Packaging Accessories and General items.
∎ Preparation & verification of all required documents related to sourcing & procurement Like, Purchase Orders/ Contracts, Comparison sheets, Supplier evaluation form, status report etc.
∎ Act as senior point of contact for purchase and procurement activities, including owning, maintaining and updating the purchase and procurement schedules and Status Report.
∎ Coordinate with management and different departments (Marketing, L&D, NPD, R&D, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Regulatory)
∎ Create time and action plan for all order and follow-up regularly.
∎ Follow up with potential suppliers (nominated/non-nominated where applicable) for price & quality.
∎ Follow up prices, specifications & delivery dates to determine the best bid price among potential supplies.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
∎ Ability to investigate thoroughly as to who are the right partners for our client long term.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers to ensure smooth functioning of processes and forecast all requirements.
∎ Work closely with partners to make them aware of new materials, studies, promotions so that they have the most up to date information to grow the brands in their market.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ In depth knowledge on garments related machinery, accessories.
∎ In depth knowledge on Local & International source especially on RMG & Textile division.
∎ Should have strong connection with local and overseas supplier and capable of sourcing new suppliers.
∎ Well-developed communication skills and a customer orientation
