Experience:

Minimum H.S.C. pass with a completed Diploma in Pharmacy.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist. Proficiency in operating Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent command of both English and Bangla.

There is a vacancy for the following regular position based at LAMB Hospital, Parbatipur, Dinajpur:

Job Summary: Responsible for dispensing medicines in proper authorization, compounding medicines as necessary, maintaining accurate records and ensuring adequate medicine stocks. Responsibilities also include checking medicine expiry dates and helping pharmacy In-charge with paper work.

Job duties:

1.    To dispense medicines on proper authorization to patients with proper instructions how to take medicines.

2.    To dispense medicines to other departments of LAMB including IPD stocks & daily supplies upon receiving proper authorization.

3.    To order, sign for & receive medicines from stores twice weekly.

4.    To keep track of short expired dated medicines & do according to the need

5.    To assist purchase orders for some emergency medicine as required by the Doctors.

6.    To keep cashiers notified of any price changes;

7.    To submit quarterly and half yearly reports as per report form.

8.    To keep accurate records of supplies received and medicine dispensed.

9.    To assist with periodic inventory of stock.

10.  To keep drug supply available in co-operation with the store.

11.  To maintain proper physical environments for medicines, clean storage & temperature control, including monitoring of refrigerator function.

12.  To compound medicines as assigned by LAMB doctors.

13.  To supervise all other pharmacy staffs

Grand total salary of Tk. 18,724/- per month, inclusive all benefits. The remuneration package includes a travel & food allowance, provident fund, critical illness and death benefits, and recreation contribution, with the organization’s contribution as applicable. Other benefit includes medical care at LAMB Hospital.
