∎ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
∎ Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (HALAL, HACCP, ISO 22000:2018)
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure all frozen food products meet quality standards at each stage of production.
∎ Maintain knowledge of lab instrument calibration from both external and internal labs.
∎ Be proficient in microbiological testing, swab testing, environmental monitoring, and other relevant procedures.
∎ Regularly check for compliance with industry and safety standards.
∎ Conduct inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process products, and final products.
∎ Document findings and report any deviations from established quality standards.
∎ Maintain high hygiene standards within the production area, ensuring equipment and personnel adhere to protocols.
∎ Oversee sanitation procedures to prevent contamination risks.
∎ Monitor and record temperatures in storage and production areas to ensure product integrity.
∎ Ensure proper storage and handling practices are maintained for all frozen products.
∎ Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards (e.g., HALAL, HACCP, ISO 22000:2018).
∎ Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality checks, incidents, and corrective actions.
∎ Identify areas for improvement within quality control processes.
∎ Collaborate with production teams to implement and enforce enhanced quality assurance measures.
