Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Environmental Science/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry from any University
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure compliance on environmental protection issues at factory premises.
∎ Implementing Environmental Management System (EMS) in the factory.
∎ Follow the RSL & MRSL and maintain strictly in Chemical purchasing procedure. Ensure original MSDS, TDS, Guaranty letter and other certificates from suppliers.
∎ Monitoring internal chemical transport, storage, distribution, mixing, handling and disposal. Provide abstract labels, secondary containment & appropriate PPE and monitor to maintain regularly.
∎ Monitor chemical inventory sheets and check updates on regular basis.
∎ Ensuring proper Energy use and GHG (Green House Gas) Emission management.
∎ Ensuring proper water use and maintain regular water uptake / consumption data sheet.
∎ Management of all types of wastage (hazardous & non-hazardous) including wastage classification, storage and disposal.
∎ Ensuring environment, health & safety issues in the factory.
∎ Assessment of Facility Environmental Module
∎ Conducting "HIGG INDEX & Implementation Strategy" in factory premises
∎ Develop and monitor all policies and procedures regarding EMS.
∎ Audit handling e.g.- BSCI, GOTS, GRS, RCS, OCS, SEDEX, WRAP etc. and other environmental audits.
∎ Regular visit to facility areas, Identify Environment and chemical risk, find control measure & take preventive and corrective action.
∎ Coordinate and support all activities of system audits, Environmental audits/inspections; Prepare and maintain audit documentation.
∎ Conduct training and meeting about Environment and Chemical Sustainability, Health & Safety issues among workers, staff and Top-Mid management.
∎ Awareness building among the workers and staffs as per Company and Government guidelines
