Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage a team of merchandisers, assigning tasks and ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
∎ Organize and oversee the workflow, ensuring that tasks are distributed effectively and deadlines are met.
∎ Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
∎ Regularly assess the performance of team members and provide feedback for improvement.
∎ Strategically plan product assortments, considering market trends and customer preferences.
∎ Identify reliable suppliers for raw materials and negotiate favorable terms.
∎ Accurately estimate production costs to maintain profitability.
∎ Ensure product quality meets or exceeds standards and customer expectations.
∎ Oversee production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
∎ Effectively communicate with design, production, and sales teams to coordinate efforts.
∎ Manage budgets and cost control to optimize resources.
∎ Monitor stock levels and prevent overstock or shortages.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and consumer behavior.
∎ Ensure all regulations and standards are met, including ethical and environmental practices.
∎ Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
∎ Predict demand and plan production accordingly to prevent under- or over-production.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 34 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Priority will be given Fashion Technology/textiles students.
∎ Good experience & expertise in Marketing will be preferred more.
∎ Strong command and Managing Materials.
∎ Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
∎ Individual should be smart, intelligent, and proactive.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
∎ In depth knowledge in garments industry
