Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in Textile from any reputed University
∎ English language is mandatory for both written and spoken.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Main responsibility is to lead, motivate and develop an engaged, forwarded thinking and highly efficient merchandising team.
∎ Identify supplier and production related problems and opportunities and ensure that actions are taken and followed up.
∎ The business goal is to source, develop and maintain supplier base according to goals and strategies.
∎ To support the development and suggest targets/actions to Sustainability Strategy.
∎ Merchandising manager have staff responsibility.
∎ Duties/Responsibilities:
∎ Create, negotiate and monitor time- and capacity plan
∎ Actively drive pricing and inquiry procedure with merchandiser and supplier
∎ Coordinate claims and cancellations
∎ Ensure that sourcing of new supplier, and maintaining existing supplier base, is in line with sustainability strategy.
∎ Be engaged and set goals for the team how to drive forward towards overall company goals.
∎ Ensure set routines are followed and implement improvements if necessary.
∎ Hold performance review with all staff at least 2 times/year and have follow up in timely matter.
∎ Take active part in recruitment and training of new staff
∎ Support sourcing of fabric for each season
∎ Be an active partner in driving new projects, way of working to drive forward
∎ Support merchandising team in having a clear and structured communication with Business units at HO.
∎ Plan, execute and follow up delegated HR processes according to legal and company standards together with own staff to secure an attractive workplace.
∎ Clarify and delegate responsibilities e.g. roles within own team to make sure department/function follows responsibilities within e.g. processes, projects and provides information to relevant stakeholders.
∎ Collaboration and Reporting:
∎ Identify and communicate to relevant stakeholders within organization to make sure a common view and understanding of dependencies and deliverables.
∎ Report to manager in frequency and extent as agreed upon with superior manager

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience in the similar role.
∎ 3-5 years in senior positions in Merchandising
∎ Business knowledge:
∎ Have a business and economic knowledge with a clear picture regarding; price calculation, profit, consumption, rate fluctuation and general business relations.
∎ Interested in and updated about how the changes in the market affects the cost of our product.
∎ IT:
∎ Knowledge in excel, word and email program.
∎ Personality:
∎ Analytical, communicative, strategic, strong leadership skills.
