Responsibilities & Context:
Master Production Scheduling (MPS):
Develop and manage production schedules covering knitting, dyeing, fabric delivery, input/output, finishing, and shipment for in-hand orders.
Ensure smooth coordination across the entire production workflow.
Production & Supply Chain Monitoring:
Track batch production, yarn availability, and knitting output to maintain efficiency.
Coordinate with SCM, laboratory, batch, knitting, and dyeing teams to align processes.
Provide dyeing and finishing plans to maximize production capacity in the dyeing section.
Demand Forecasting & Procurement:
Forecast yarn requirements based on confirmed orders.
Raise requisitions and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of raw materials.
Capacity & Line Planning:
Conduct monthly production and capacity planning for knitting and dyeing based on MPS.
Make decisions on subcontracting when required to meet production targets.
Plan monthly sewing lines according to raw material availability and shipment schedules.
Critical Path Analysis:
Analyze the end-to-end production flow from yarn receipt to shipment.
Identify discrepancies, bottlenecks, and risks, and take corrective actions promptly.
Cross-Department Coordination:
Provide guidance to garment production planners to ensure seamless workflow.
Liaise with department heads and top management for updates, approvals, and issue resolution.
Ensure just-in-time workflow execution across all stages.
Reporting & Compliance:
Report operational issues, risks, and progress to the Department Head & Top management.
Monitor subcontracting activities monthly to ensure compliance with quality and timelines.
Source fabrics from reliable factories to maintain quality standards.
Follow up on AOP (All Over Print) processes and other assigned responsibilities.
