Responsibilities & Context:
Sound knowledge on different Machineries (specifically Knit Textiles) and their spare parts, consumable materials in Industry and other services.
Should have planning ability for procurement of equipment, services, and other supplies.
Talent to control procurement activities for individual business unit.
Used to possess procurement cycle ( RFQ- Collect Quotation - Formulate CS- Prepare PO/WO- Delivery of material on time).
Review and analyze vendors/suppliers performance, quality of suppled material and pricing option.
Physical competence to visit marketplace and industrial unit periodically.
Should have positive approach to work collaboratively with colleagues in order to achieve goal.
To keep liaison with related factory personnel and other departments (like. Store Dept., Maintenance Dept., Audit Dept., Accounts & Finance Dept. etc.)
Have good communication skills and enthusiasm for productive, respectful approach
