Core MEP & Project Management Certifications.
NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety Certification) – Workplace electrical safety.
NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA Certifications – Workplace health & safety (highly valued in RMG).
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in industrial settings.
Experience in handling large-scale factory utilities (generator, sub-station, HVAC, boiler, compressor, ETP, WTP).
Leadership and people management skills.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with compliance standards (fire safety, electrical, environmental).
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of all MEP systems (HVAC, boilers, compressors, generators, electrical panels, water supply, firefighting systems, etc.).
Ensure all machinery and utilities are functioning efficiently to support garment production operations.
Plan preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for MEP equipment
Manage new facility expansion, renovation, or utility upgrade projects related to MEP.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion within budget.
Evaluate technical specifications and review design drawings for MEP projects.
Ensure compliance with national regulations (fire safety, electrical codes, boiler regulations, etc.).
Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety protocols for MEP operations.
