Responsibilities & Context:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction and interior fit-out projects.

• Review architectural, structural, and interior drawings to understand project requirements.

• Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs for civil and interior works.

• Calculate quantities of materials, manpower, equipment, and other project requirements.

• Prepare detailed rate analysis for construction and interior works.

• Collect and compare material and subcontractor quotations from suppliers/vendors.

• Prepare project budgets and cost breakdowns based on drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams regarding project requirements.

• Verify quantities and measurements from drawings and site conditions.

• Monitor material and labor costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Assist in preparing tender documents, quotations, and commercial proposals.

• Update estimates based on design changes, revisions, and variations.

• Maintain proper records of BOQs, estimates, quotations, and project costing documents.

• Support the project team in achieving cost control and maintaining project budgets.

• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, and cost estimation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

• Good understanding of civil construction and interior finishing works.

• Knowledge of construction materials, labor rates, and market prices.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior drawings.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
