Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the overall mechanical and electrical maintenance activities of the plant.
Ensure maximum equipment reliability, plant availability, and minimum downtime.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Manage breakdown maintenance and ensure quick root-cause analysis and corrective action.
Plan and monitor maintenance schedules for production lines, utilities, machinery, and other plant equipment.
Lead maintenance activities for CSD/beverage production lines, compressors, boilers, generators, chillers, HVAC, pumps, and other utilities.
Monitor maintenance KPIs, downtime, spare-parts consumption, and maintenance costs.
Ensure adequate planning and inventory of critical spare parts.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Lead and develop the maintenance team through training, performance monitoring, and effective manpower planning.
Support CAPEX projects, machine installation, commissioning, modification, and process improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
