*Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Technical Skills:       

*Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; competence in Revit or ArchiCAD will be highly regarded,

*Proficiency in SketchUp and at least one rendering platform such as Lumion, D5 Render or V-Ray,

*Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office applications.Clear written and spoken English for understanding project instructions and preparing professional.

About the Opportunity

Hujurat Construction & Development is seeking a capable and dependable Architect to join our Rajshahi office. The successful candidate will support overseas residential projects by developing practical, attractive and approval-ready designs in accordance with the applicable project guidelines, planning controls, building codes and documentation standards.

This role is suited to an architect who combines design creativity with strong technical documentation, careful compliance checking, timely project delivery and effective team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Initiation & Client Coordination

* Participate in client and internal project meetings to understand objectives, scope, budget, design preferences and delivery timeframes.

* Review survey plans, title information, easements, restrictions and other project constraints.

* Provide clear design advice regarding feasibility, layout options and appropriate approval pathways.

2. Planning, Codes & Compliance

* Identify and apply the planning controls, building codes, design guidelines and technical standards relevant to each assigned overseas project.

* Check requirements relating to setbacks, building height, floor-space controls, site coverage, parking, private open space and other applicable development criteria.

* Maintain accurate compliance checklists and promptly raise any design risks or missing information to management.

3. Site Analysis & Feasibility

* Assess site orientation, slope, cut and fill, access, drainage context and environmental constraints.

*  Review available information relating to flooding, bushfire, acoustic, heritage and other site-specific considerations.

* Assist in determining project feasibility and the appropriate assessment or approval pathway.

4. Concept Design

* Prepare functional and visually considered concept plans, spatial layouts, building envelopes and massing studies.

*  Optimise designs to satisfy client needs, applicable controls, buildability and cost-conscious construction outcomes.

*  Incorporate feedback efficiently and complete preliminary compliance checks before progressing to detailed documentation.

5. Architectural Documentation

* Prepare coordinated architectural drawing packages, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, schedules, material notes and construction details.

* Show dimensions, levels, setbacks, cut and fill, finishes and other required information clearly and consistently.

* Prepare 3D models, presentation drawings and realistic renders when required.

* Maintain drawing registers, revision control, file naming and project records in accordance with company procedures.

6. Approval & Consultant Coordination

* Follow the submission requirements and checklists specified by the relevant approving authority or project consultant.

* Coordinate drawings with structural, civil, stormwater, energy, planning and other consultant information.

* Address review comments promptly and issue accurate revised documentation for approval.

7. Team Leadership & Quality Control

* Support, guide and supervise junior architects and draftspersons as assigned.

* Review drawings for quality, accuracy, coordination and compliance before submission.

* Allocate tasks, monitor deadlines and support management in final design reviews and project sign-off.

8. Construction-Stage Support

* Respond to design queries from management, clients, consultants and construction teams.

* Prepare clarifications, amendments and revised drawings when required.

* Assist in resolving design and documentation issues during construction.

Required Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor of Architecture or an equivalent recognised qualification.

* Demonstrated experience in residential architectural design and detailed documentation.

* Strong understanding of planning controls, building codes, design guidelines and construction documentation.

Office hours are structured to support timely coordination and delivery of overseas projects. Breaks and any operational adjustments will be managed in accordance with company policy and applicable employment requirements.

Compensation, Probation & Review

* Fixed consolidated monthly package: BDT 40,000, inclusive of accommodation and transport support.

* Probation period: two months. Performance, conduct, attendance, technical capability and suitability for the role will be reviewed before confirmation.

* Salary will be reviewed annually. Any increment will be based on contribution to the company, quality and timeliness of project delivery, reliability, leadership, team management and overall performance.

* Any additional benefits, leave and employment conditions will be governed by the appointment letter, company policy and applicable law.
