Responsibilities & Context:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.

• Ensure construction works are executed as per approved Architectural, Structural and MEP drawings, BOQ, specifications and work schedule.

• Review drawings, specifications, BOQ, estimates and other technical documents before execution.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works.

• Prepare and maintain project work schedules, daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and site records.

• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, foremen and site workers to ensure proper execution of works.

• Ensure the quality of construction materials and workmanship as per approved specifications and standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues, defects and discrepancies.

• Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP Engineers, Project Management Team, Contractors and Suppliers for smooth project execution.

• Prepare and verify quantity requirements, material requisitions and site demands.

• Monitor material consumption and control wastage at project sites.

• Check measurements of completed works and verify contractor/subcontractor bills against actual work progress.

• Assist in preparation of BOQ, estimation, rate analysis, variation statements and cost estimates.

• Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining the project within the approved budget.

• Ensure proper implementation of method statements, erection methodology, work procedures and quality control plans.

• Ensure compliance with BNBC, relevant codes, approved specifications and safety requirements.

• Ensure proper site safety, housekeeping and safe working practices.
