• Strong understanding of architectural design and planning.

• Good knowledge of architectural drawings, detailing and construction documentation.

• Good command of AutoCAD and SketchUp.

• Knowledge of Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray or similar visualization software will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of building materials and construction methods.

• Strong creativity and design sense.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Willingness to visit project sites when required.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Rafat Developers & Builders Ltd. (RDBL) is looking for a talented and motivated Jr. Architect to join our architectural and project team.

The selected candidate will work closely with senior architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and management in the design development, documentation and execution of residential and real estate development projects.

The position offers practical exposure to architectural design, construction documentation, project coordination and site execution.

Job Responsibilities

·         Assist in developing architectural concepts, design proposals and planning solutions.

·         Prepare floor plans, layouts, elevations, sections and detailed architectural drawings.

·         Prepare working drawings and construction details using AutoCAD.

·         Develop 3D models and architectural visualizations using SketchUp and other relevant software.

·         Assist in interior and exterior design development.

·         Prepare apartment layouts, floor plans and project presentation drawings.

·         Assist in space planning and optimization of building layouts.

·         Prepare detailed drawings for construction and execution.

·         Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing and other engineering requirements.

·         Assist in reviewing drawings and identifying design discrepancies.

·         Make necessary revisions and updates to drawings based on project requirements.

·         Conduct regular site visits and monitor design implementation.

·         Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project teams regarding architectural requirements.

·         Assist in resolving design and detailing issues during construction.

·         Assist in material selection, finishes and architectural detailing.

·         Prepare design presentations, project brochures, layouts and other architectural documents.

·         Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and project documentation.

·         Assist senior architects and management in project planning and design development.

·         Ensure that design and documentation follow applicable building codes, regulations and project requirements.

·         Research new architectural materials, technologies, design trends and sustainable practices.

·         Perform other architecture and project-related responsibilities assigned by management.
