Job Context:
Meghna Pulp & Paper Mills Limited (Liner & Medium, Plant-5), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is engaged in the manufacturing of industrial paper and coated duplex board. We are looking for a competent and experienced assistant engineer - electrical/instrumentation to ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical and industrial automation systems at the plant. The position will report to the concerned functional head.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure uninterrupted operation and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in the paper manufacturing plant.
Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and automation faults promptly to minimize production downtime and losses.
Perform calibration, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of process instruments, including Basis Weight, Moisture, Flow Meter, Pressure Transmitter (PT), Level Transmitter (LT), Differential Pressure (DP) Transmitter, Control Valve, Steam Valve, and other related instruments.
Demonstrate hands-on expertise in using HART Communicator/Calibrator for calibration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of field instruments.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and other industrial automation and control systems.
Monitor and maintain sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other instrumentation equipment to ensure accurate and reliable process control.
Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, modification, and handover of electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logbooks, breakdown histories, calibration records, equipment histories, and other technical documentation.
