Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, customer-focused and detail-oriented Interior Designer to develop interior design concepts and support residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of space planning, interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and practical execution, while being able to recommend suitable products and solutions based on client requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, elevations, furniture layouts and 3D visualizations based on client requirements, space, budget and project objectives.

• Understand client requirements, design preferences, functional needs and budget, and translate them into practical and aesthetically pleasing interior solutions.

• Conduct showroom, customer and project/site visits to understand requirements, site conditions, measurements and execution possibilities.

• Create mood boards, material boards, colour schemes and design presentations according to project requirements.

• Recommend suitable materials, finishes, colours, textures, boards, kitchen accessories, hardware and other interior products based on design and functional requirements.

• Provide professional product demonstrations and clearly explain product features, specifications, applications, installation methods and benefits.

• Demonstrate and explain EcoCore Boards and HIGOLD Kitchen Accessories & Hardware, including their features, finishes, applications and suitable project usage.

• Assist customers in comparing products, finishes, designs, specifications and applications to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

• Support the preparation of product proposals, material selections, quotations, BOQs and material schedules when required.

• Support the Sales & Business Development Team with technical product knowledge, design solutions, customer presentations and project discussions.

• Recommend suitable Euro Decor products for residential, commercial, kitchen, furniture and interior projects based on customer and project requirements.

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and project teams to ensure proper understanding and implementation of design requirements.

• Follow up on project progress and coordinate necessary design modifications and revisions based on client and project requirements.

• Ensure design concepts and selected products are practical, technically suitable and feasible for execution.

• Maintain updated knowledge of interior design trends, materials, finishes, kitchen solutions, furniture hardware and new product developments.

• Maintain professional showroom presentation, customer relationships and proper project documentation, drawings and design records, while collecting and communicating relevant customer and market feedback.

 

Product & Industry Knowledge

• Develop strong technical and practical knowledge of EcoCore Boards, HIGOLD Kitchen Accessories & Hardware and other Euro Decor interior products.

• Stay updated on interior design trends, kitchen solutions, furniture hardware, materials, finishes and international design developments.

• Understand product specifications, dimensions, applications, limitations, installation requirements and compatibility.

• Continuously improve product presentation, demonstration and customer consultation skills.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a relevant field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in interior design, showroom design, kitchen design, furniture design or related projects.

• Prior experience in interior design site work and project/site coordination is required.

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant interior design software.

• Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion, Enscape or similar software will be preferred.

• Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, furniture, kitchen design, boards, kitchen accessories and furniture hardware.

• Practical knowledge of EcoCore Boards, HIGOLD Kitchen Accessories & Hardware or similar interior products will be highly preferred.

• Strong creative, visualization, space-planning and design presentation skills.

• Strong product presentation and customer demonstration skills, with the ability to explain technical product information clearly and simply.

• Good communication, presentation, negotiation and customer-handling skills.

• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate design, material and product solutions.

• Strong attention to detail with practical problem-solving and project coordination abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple customer requirements, projects and deadlines.

• Willingness to work at the showroom and visit customer locations and project sites when required; candidates should be professional, responsible, organized, proactive and solution-oriented.

• Honesty, integrity, patience and trustworthiness are highly important.
