Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Project & Site Execution: Ensure all construction activities strictly adhere to the approved BOQ, Estimated Design, and Engineering Drawings.
LGED Compliance & Liaison: Maintain active communication with LGED and the Executive Engineer (XEN) office to align with official procedures and standards.
Site Supervision & Monitoring: Supervise Site Engineers, sub-contractors, and labor teams to enforce quality control, site safety, and structural accuracy.
Billing & Documentation: Lead complete bill preparation, measurement checks, and processing of progress bills up to final settlement.
Planning & Progress Reporting: Prepare road-wise work execution plans and submit Daily Work Progress Reports (DPR) to higher management.
Material & Inventory Requisition: Raise timely site requisitions for construction materials, equipment, and logistics to avoid operational downtime.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: B.Sc / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in road construction projects (preference for prior experience in LGED projects).
Technical Skills: Strong capability in reading structural/architectural drawings, BOQ analysis, project management, MS Excel, and AutoCAD.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, site management, and technical communication skills.
