Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Oversee all electrical engineering operations in garment factories (knitting, dyeing, finishing, sewing, and utilities).
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring skill development and performance excellence.
Technical Management
Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial machinery (dyeing machines, boilers, compressors, generators, sub-stations).
Ensure proper functioning of automation systems (PLC, VFD, sensors, SCADA).
Monitor energy consumption and optimize efficiency through sustainable practices.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to Bangladesh Electrical Codes, Fire Safety, and Accord/Alliance standards.
Conduct regular audits of electrical systems to minimize risks.
Maintain documentation for ISO, WRAP, and other compliance certifications.
Innovation & Upgradation
Introduce modern technologies for energy efficiency and production automation.
Collaborate with vendors for advanced machinery and electrical solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
