Experience:
Proven experience in marketing, in both Knit & Woven garments, with at least 6 years of relevant work experience.
We prevalently manufacture fancy items both in terms of workmanship and fabric. So deep knowledge in those sectors is a definite plus. This should also be reflected in the candidates marketing capabilities.
Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership and team management experience.
Proficiently and timely usage of relevant company software solutions and applications for marketing, merchandising and other required data entry is a must.
An understanding of market trends and the ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in the apparel industry for various countries.
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract international and local buyers.
Identify new market opportunities and establish business relationships with potential customers.
Maintain strong relationships with existing buyers and handle all communication related to orders.
Collaborate with the merchandising, planning & IE team to ensure alignment with production feasibility and margins are properly maintained.
Capacity Planning & maximum Factory Utilisation
Work closely with production planning to ensure optimal factory loading.
Forecast marketing strategy based on production capacity and seasonal trends.
Ensuring consistent and professional communication with buyers, stakeholders or any of their appointed individuals is of utmost important.
Develop marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content aligned with buyer expectations.
Lead sample development and presentation to customers based on seasonal trends and buyer.
Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with buyers.
Responsible for order development to final payment collection
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust marketing plans
Coordinate closely with the merchandising and production departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of order
Ensure on-time delivery of samples and bulk production according to buyer specifications.
Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to promote the company and its products.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for management review.
Any and all other tasks assigned by management.
Timely and quality shipment of all your orders is your explicit responsibility.
Strong buyer network in Europe, Canada & Australia will be a very plus point.
