• Lead and maintain the factory Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and buyer requirements.
• Develop and enforce QA/TQM frameworks, SOPs, inspection protocols, and technical guidelines for all production stages.
• Run internal QMS audits, ensure CAP is implemented, and keep full compliance documentation for certifications and buyer audits.
• Oversee incoming raw material inspection (fabric, trims, accessories) and coordinate with Sourcing and Merchandising to resolve supplier issues.
• Manage laboratory operations and testing, ensuring instrument calibration and accurate lab reports that feed into production risk assessments.
• Lead pre‑production quality activities including PP meetings, pilot runs, sample approvals, and preventive risk mitigation.
• Monitor in‑process quality across cutting, sewing, and finishing, enforce DHU control, and run line quality drills and traffic‑light systems.
• Supervise final inspection and shipment readiness, ensuring AQL compliance, correct packing/labeling, and zero rejections at buyer/third‑party audits.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and CAP for defects, complaints, and audit findings, using data to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze quality data and prepare regular reports, highlighting recurring defects, DHU trends, and improvement opportunities for management.
• Coordinate cross‑functionally with Production, IE, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Shipping to remove quality bottlenecks and balance efficiency with quality.
• Build and lead the QA/QC team through training, coaching, and culture building to achieve right‑first‑time performance and system adherence.
