Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Leather Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant discipline.
MBA will be considered an added advantage.
At least 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within an export-oriented Bag, Backpack, Luggage, Leather Goods, or Garments manufacturing industry.
Minimum 3 years in a managerial position.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Sound knowledge of export buyers' quality requirements (Primark, Inditex, Walmart, Target, Lidl, C&A, H&M, etc.).
Good communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment deadlines.
Job Context:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager, Quality Assurance (QA) for our export-oriented and compliance-based bag manufacturing company. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that all products comply with buyer requirements, international quality standards, and company policies. The role will work closely with Production, Merchandising, IE, Compliance, and technical teams to achieve Right First Time (RFT) production and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
•Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for bag manufacturing.
•Ensure product quality from raw material inspection to final shipment.
•Establish quality standards based on buyer requirements and international compliance standards.
•Monitor in-line, end-line, and final inspections to ensure defect-free production.
•Analyze quality data and identify root causes of defects.
•Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities to minimize quality issues.
•Conduct quality audits and ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
•Coordinate with Production, IE, Merchandising, and Technical teams for continuous quality improvement.
•Ensure compliance with AQL standards and customer inspection requirements.
•Develop SOPs, inspection checklists, and quality control procedures.
•Train and mentor QA team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and buyer requirements.
•Prepare quality performance reports and present them to management.
•Handle customer audits, third-party inspections, and buyer quality visits.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, alteration, and customer claims.
•Perform any other duties assigned by management.
