Context:

To ensure smooth production operations in the plastic hanger manufacturing unit by planning, coordinating, monitoring, and controlling production activities. Responsible for achieving daily production targets, maintaining product quality standards, minimizing downtime, and ensuring discipline and safety among the workforce.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules as per management targets.

• Ensure the availability of molds, raw materials, and manpower before production starts.

• Monitor machine performance and ensure maximum utilization of machine capacity.

• Maintain accurate daily production reports and submit to management on time.

• Coordinate with SCM and Store departments for timely supply of raw materials and packaging items.

• Ensure product quality according to approved samples and buyer standards.

• Inspect finishing, molding accuracy, and dimensional consistency of hangers.

• Coordinate with the QC department to resolve any quality issues promptly.

• Take corrective and preventive actions to reduce rejection and rework rates.

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to maintain consistent quality standards.

• Ensure proper installation, fitting, and alignment of molds on injection molding machines.

• Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, injection speed, and cooling time.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

• Ensure proper care, cleaning, and storage of molds to extend their service life.

• Support maintenance and engineering teams in root cause analysis of repeated breakdowns.

• Lead, train, and guide machine operators and helpers to improve skills and productivity.

• Prepare shift rosters and ensure optimum manpower distribution across all lines.

• Maintain discipline, attendance, and behavioral standards on the production floor.

• Resolve team conflicts and motivate staff to achieve production and quality goals.

• Identify training needs and support skill development initiatives.

• Ensure all production activities comply with company safety and environmental policies.

• Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote safe work practices.

• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents and take corrective action immediately.

• Support audits and inspections related to factory compliance and operational standards.
