Context:

Ensure smooth operation and minimum downtime of extrusion, printing, and cutting machines through regular preventive maintenance, effective troubleshooting, timely repair, and continuous technical process improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repair on extrusion (film/blown), flexo printing, and cutting machines.

• Identify machine problems quickly and take corrective action to reduce downtime.

• Ensure proper alignment, temperature control, pressure settings, and lubrication.

• Replace worn parts and maintain spare parts inventory.

• Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

• Monitor machine condition using inspection checklists.

• Record maintenance activities and ensure follow-up on pending issues.

• Support production team to achieve target output and reduce stoppage time.

• Adjust machine settings when required to stabilize film quality and printing registration.

• Cooperate closely with operators for continuous improvement.

• Ensure proper machine guarding, electrical safety, and lock-out/tag-out practices.

• Train operators on safe machine handling and emergency procedures.

• Keep maintenance area organized, clean, and compliant with factory safety standards.

• Maintain breakdown logs, maintenance history, and spare parts consumption records.

• Prepare maintenance performance reports for management review.

• Suggest improvements to increase machine life and reduce repair costs.
