We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Assistant Engineer (Civil) for Bashundhara Multi Steel Industries Limited, Mirsharai, Chattogram

 Job Description:

• Co-ordination with the superiors, consultants, and supplier representatives regarding the relevant drawings and construction correlation.

• Execute the construction activities as per the approved design and drawing, following all compliance of the company, consultant and procedures.

• Supervise the construction-related contractors and provide support to ensure completion of the job on time.

• Monitor construction progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems throughout the project.

• Carry out site inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to approved designs and engineering standards.

• Verify BBS, reinforcement work, shuttering, concreting, and finishing works before execution.

• Measure work quantities, verify contractor bills, and certify completed work as per contract terms.

• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Utility teams to facilitate smooth execution of multidisciplinary industrial projects.

• Monitor material quality, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with approved specifications and testing requirements.

• Maintain project documentation, including inspection reports, work permits, as-built drawings, and quality records.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and construction materials to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of completed civil works.
