• Sound understanding of electrical power distribution, substations, and switchgear.

• Experience in EOT Crane electrical systems, drives, controls, and maintenance is highly proffered.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Engineer (Electrical & Automation) for Bashundhara Multi Steel Industries Limited, Mirsharai, Chattogram

 Job Description:

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of electrical and automation systems in the plant.

• Monitor and maintain power distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.

• Troubleshoot electrical and automation faults to minimize production downtime.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.

• Maintain and optimize PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and industrial control systems.

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical and automation projects.

• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments for project execution and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and company policies.

• Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency.

• Conduct inspections, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement activities.

• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and project progress updates.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant productivity and operational efficiency.

• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators as required.
