Job Summary

RFL Footwear is seeking a skilled and analytical Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, reduce production costs, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operation times and improve production efficiency.

• Analyze production workflows and recommend process improvements to maximize productivity.

• Prepare line layouts and optimize workstation design for balanced production flow.

• Monitor line efficiency, productivity, and capacity utilization, and recommend corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain production targets, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing techniques to minimize waste and improve performance.

• Perform manpower planning and line balancing to ensure optimum resource utilization.

• Analyze production data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve operational performance.

• Support new product development by conducting process feasibility studies and capacity planning.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and other industrial engineering tools.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards throughout the production process.
