Experience:
Training or certification in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of PLC, Automation Systems, and Industrial Instrumentation is preferred.
Training on Boiler, Compressor, Refrigeration, Chiller, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations will be an advantage.
Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OSH/NEBOSH/IOSH) is preferred.
Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, and Food Safety Management Systems.
5–7 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering within the Food & Beverage/FMCG manufacturing industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role.· Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, utilities management, factory engineering projects, and plant maintenance.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Sound knowledge of industrial machinery, utilities, TPM, PLC-based systems, and maintenance planning.
Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and workplace safety regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS/ERP) will be an advantage.
A reputed Food & Beverage Manufacturing Company is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professional for the position of Deputy Manager/Manager – Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading factory mechanical maintenance, engineering operations, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure maximum production efficiency.
Lead mechanical maintenance, engineering, and utility operations across the manufacturing plant.
Ensure maximum equipment availability by implementing effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Minimize machine downtime through timely troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
Plan, execute, and supervise engineering projects, including installation, commissioning, and modification of production lines and equipment.
Manage factory utilities such as boilers, compressors, refrigeration systems, and water treatment facilities.
Develop, mentor, and lead the mechanical engineering team through training, coaching, and performance management.
Monitor maintenance KPIs, equipment reliability, and engineering budgets while implementing cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, ISO requirements, and occupational health & safety regulations.
Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and energy conservation.
