• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or similar.

• Experience in mobile app development, preferably Android and/or iOS.

• Experience managing engineers and delivering software projects from planning through production release.

• Good understanding of APIs, backend, databases, cloud services, and software architecture.

• Strong knowledge of Git, code review, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.

• Ability to solve complex technical issues and make effective technical decisions.

• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and team management skills.

• Experience with Kotlin, KMP, Swift, Firebase, Google Cloud, AWS, and subscriptions will be preferred.

Envobyte Ltd. is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering team and ensure the timely delivery, quality, and reliability of our products. We primarily develop Android and iOS mobile applications, along with supporting APIs and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and experience managing software development projects and engineering teams. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mobile and backend engineering teams.

• Plan technical tasks, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely delivery.

• Guide architecture, technology selection, and development approaches.

• Review technical solutions, code quality, and engineering standards.

• Oversee Android, iOS, Kotlin Multiplatform, API, and backend development.

• Ensure app stability, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

• Monitor crashes, ANRs, API failures, server issues, and production incidents.

• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvements.

• Coordinate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and Management teams.

• Improve development, testing, release, backup, and deployment processes.

• Participate in technical recruitment and onboarding.

• Mentor engineers and evaluate their performance, productivity, and technical growth.
