Experience:
Diploma in Civil Engineering / Surveying or equivalent qualification.
Candidates with relevant professional certification in surveying will be preferred.
3–5 years of practical experience in construction surveying, preferably in road, drainage, bridge, building, earthwork, or infrastructure projects.
Good working knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level/Digital Level, GPS/GNSS and other surveying equipment.
Ability to read and interpret Civil/Structural drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic computer applications will be an advantage.
Good understanding of coordinates, levels, alignment, chainage, benchmarks, and setting-out procedures.
Ability to prepare accurate survey calculations and reports.
Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and under pressure at remote project locations.
Willingness to work anywhere in Bangladesh.
About the Position
DG Bangla Engineering Ltd. is looking for an experienced, responsible, and technically competent Surveyor to join our construction project team. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out all types of construction surveying, setting out, measurement, leveling, and maintaining accurate survey records at project sites anywhere in Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct topographical, construction, road, drainage, earthwork, and structural surveys as required.
Perform setting-out works for roads, drains, buildings, structures, foundations, earthworks, and other construction activities.
Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points, centerlines, levels, and coordinates.
Carry out leveling, alignment, distance, elevation, and coordinate measurements.
Check and verify construction work against approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare survey reports, field books, measurement records, and as-built survey data.
Calculate earthwork quantities, levels, areas, distances, and other survey-related measurements.
Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Subcontractors, and other site personnel.
Operate and maintain surveying instruments properly and ensure accuracy of measurements.
Identify and report discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
Maintain proper documentation of all survey activities and records.
Perform any other survey-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Engineer.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience, technical competency, and qualifications.
