• Systematically diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic, mechanical, and optical faults in scientific instruments.

• Perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance verification to ensure accuracy.

• Resolve software-to-hardware communication issues and system configuration errors.

• Provide quick on-site and remote technical support to minimize instrument downtime for clients.

We are looking for a proactive and dual-skilled Service Engineer who can efficiently manage both Technical Installation and Client Relationship/Marketing.

The primary duty includes installing scientific instruments at client locations (approx. 5–6/more days a month). During non-installation days, the candidate will be responsible for client management, marketing, and building strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Installation (Primary Role during assignments):

• Successfully install, test, and commission Scientific Instruments at client sites as per operational guidelines.

• Provide basic operating training and technical support to clients after successful installation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues reported by customers promptly.

Marketing & Relationship Management (Regular Duty):

• Actively visit existing and potential clients (universities, research centers, labs, industrial setups, etc.).

• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.

• Identify new market opportunities, generate leads, and present our scientific products/services to prospective clients.

• Collect customer feedback and follow up on pending queries or service requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Applied Physics / Bio-Medical Engineering) or relevant discipline.

• Experience Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Scientific/Laboratory Equipment Sales & Service is preferred. (Fresh graduates with strong communication & technical aptitude are also encouraged to apply).

• Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel anywhere in Bangladesh for installation and business meetings.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (English & Bangla).

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to handle both technical tasks and sales targets efficiently.

  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email Communication).
