About the Role

Florentia Real Estates Ltd. is seeking an accomplished and professionally qualified Senior Architect to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in the planning, design, approval, coordination, and execution of the Company's real estate development projects. The position requires a strong combination of architectural expertise, regulatory knowledge, project coordination capabilities, and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate should be capable of taking architectural projects from concept development through construction completion, while ensuring design excellence, statutory compliance, cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural planning, conceptual design, design development, and project execution for residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and other development projects.

• Develop innovative, functional, sustainable, aesthetically strong, and commercially viable architectural solutions.

• Prepare, review, and approve schematic designs, detailed designs, construction drawings, specifications, and as-built documentation.

• Review architectural drawings and technical submissions prepared by consultants, architects, draftsmen, and design teams.

• Prepare, review, certify, and sign architectural drawings for submission to RAJUK and other relevant authorities, where professionally authorized.

• Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), Fire & Life Safety requirements, accessibility standards, zoning regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.

• Coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, interior, and other specialist consultants.

• Lead coordination with RAJUK and other regulatory authorities for approvals, permissions, and statutory clearances.

• Conduct design review meetings and provide professional solutions to architectural and technical challenges.

• Provide architectural direction during construction and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, samples, finishes, and other technical submissions.

• Identify and resolve design and site-related issues in coordination with project teams and consultants.

• Support project budgeting, architectural cost estimation, procurement, and technical evaluation of materials.

• Monitor architectural deliverables against project schedules, quality requirements, and approved budgets.

• Identify project risks and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop architects, draftsmen, and design coordinators.

• Maintain professional communication with management, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

• Research and evaluate new construction materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices for potential implementation.

• Prepare design presentations, project reports, and management updates as required.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.

• Must be a Registered Architect and a valid member of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).

• Must be professionally eligible and authorized to sign and certify architectural drawings for submission to RAJUK and other relevant authorities in Bangladesh.

• Practical experience in obtaining statutory approvals from RAJUK and other regulatory authorities is essential.

Experience

• 10–15 years of professional experience in architectural design, planning, project coordination, and execution.

• Proven track record of delivering complex projects from concept to completion.

• Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or large-scale real estate development projects will be highly preferred.

• Strong experience in multidisciplinary coordination with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Experience working with international consultants, overseas professionals, or cross-functional global teams will be an added advantage.
