Experience:

• At least 3 years

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from any recognized public or private university.

• At least 3 years

• Age At least 22 years

Experience Requirement:

• At least 3 (Three) years working experience in relevant field (specifically in electrical drawing, design, and solar PV/renewable energy infrastructure).

Specialized Technical Knowledge

• Strong expertise in Solar PV System Design, pump motor matching, VFD controller configuration, and renewable energy infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) for electrical drafting and design layout generation.
• Hands-on experience with solar simulation software (PVsyst, Helioscope, or HOMER) is highly desirable.

Computer & Administrative Skills

• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good typing skills and functional fluency in both English and Bengali (Bijoy/Avro) for documentation and reporting.

Required Competencies

• Deep understanding of electrical safety standards, rural power distribution issues, and renewable energy technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and handle multi-project timelines under pressure.

Renewable Energy & Engineering Division

Work Station: Head Office (Dhaka) with field visits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Solar PV & Renewable Infrastructure Design

• Prepare detailed CAD layout plans, electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD), structural mounting arrangements, and string sizing for Solar Irrigation Pumping Systems, On-Grid/Off-Grid Commercial PV Systems, and Solar Home/Mini-Grid projects.
• Conduct site survey evaluations, solar radiation assessment, shading analysis, and yield projections for remote project locations.

Electrical System Drafting & Power Distribution

• Design electrical distribution layouts, control panels, Solar Pump VFD integration, PFI plants, and protection schemes adhering to national standards (BNBC, IDCOL guidelines, and IEC).
• Prepare cable selection schedules, voltage drop calculations, grounding/earthing layouts, and lightning protection system (LPS) drawings.

Cost Estimation & Technical Documentation

• Develop comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), technical specifications, and project proposals for institutional and development-partner tenders.
• Prepare as-built drawings and technical manuals for field technicians and operation teams.

Project Monitoring & Field Support

• Provide technical guidance to site installation teams to ensure strict alignment with approved design layouts.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting of solar PV drives, inverter systems, and field distribution boxes.
