• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

• Develop mechanical components, machines, equipment, and production parts based on design requirements.

• Prepare accurate engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, materials, and BOMs.

• Convert concepts, sketches, and existing drawings into detailed SolidWorks models.

• Perform design modifications, revisions, and optimization according to production requirements.

• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), exploded views, and assembly drawings.

• Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, fabrication, machining, and assembly.

• Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and other departments to resolve design issues.

• Review existing designs and recommend improvements for cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

• Maintain proper CAD files, drawing revisions, and engineering documentation.

• Check drawings and 3D models for accuracy before releasing them for production.

• Follow company standards, engineering practices, and applicable safety requirements.

• Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks 3D Modeling and Assembly.

• Experience with Sheet Metal, Weldments, Surface Modeling, and Drawing is preferred.

• Good understanding of mechanical engineering, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material selection.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
