Experience:

• At least 10 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies

• Age At least 35 years

• Proven experience as a DGM (Factory) or similar role in the steel fabrication or related manufacturing industry. (10 yrs experience, minimum).

• Experience in prefabricated steel structure will be an added advantage.

• Manufacturing, or a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes and relevant technologies.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

• Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Should be self-motivated, energetic & good at working under pressure.

• Good communication skill in English.

• Willing to stay in the factory premises for full time.

The incumbent is to be responsible for:

Production Management:

• Lead and optimize the manufacturing process, ensuring timely and high-quality production of steel components.

• Implement best practices for lean manufacturing to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Team Leadership:

• Provide strong leadership to the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Mentor and develop staff, promoting skill development and a commitment to excellence.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold the highest standards in construction.

• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any issues promptly.

Health and Safety:

• Prioritize and enforce strict health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to mitigate risks and promote a safety-first culture.

Resource Management:

• Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to meet production targets.

• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure a seamless supply chain with timely delivery of targets.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency.

• Implement initiatives to enhance overall factory performance and competitiveness.

Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
