Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc/ MSc in Textile Technology/Apparel Merchandising, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, Masters in Business studies from reputed educational institutions.

Job Context:
∎ A well reputed Sweater Manufacturing Unit
∎ Job Location - Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyses the impact of changes in the economy at national and global levels on the RMG (Sweater) business sector and draw up action plans to take proactive actions.
∎ Takes Marketing responsibility to procure order based on factory capacity of 2,50,000 pcs/Month, overall monitoring and supervision of all merchandising and marketing activities for the Company.
∎ Takes necessary steps to ensure the achievement of periodic order booking and delivery targets for the company as part of the overall financial targets on sales and profitability and operational targets related to capacity utilization of the plant which consists 250 unit jacquard machines.
∎ Takes responsibility for business development in new markets and manages relationship with key customers.
∎ Understands the strategic business requirement of the organization and suggests new capability building based on market intelligence.
∎ Focuses direct marketing initiatives on key international clients leveraging on existing relationships and building new ones.
∎ Coordinates with operations and integrate planning for production planning, procurement and timely dispatch.
∎ Promote the business as a strong brand name of repute among prospective customers through extensive and targeted brand building exercise.
∎ Develops market entry strategy for previously untapped geographies based on market intelligence
∎ Work with key people to develop sound and robust systems, which aim at identifying and addressing customer needs on a continuous basis.
∎ Setting KPI for the merchandising department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ 10 to 15 year(s) marketing experience in Sweater/Knitwear Industry.
∎ Marketing Experience in dealing with Reputed and renowned foreign clothing Brands /Retailers/agents /liaison office/Buying house/Buying agent etc.
∎ Should possess extensive knowledge on knitwear/sweater products and having total technical knowledge on modern sweater/Knitwear.
∎ Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the product.
