We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Manager to oversee and manage all commercial activities, including export-import documentation, banking, L/C management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sweater industry operations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all export-import commercial activities for sweater manufacturing.

• Prepare, verify, and manage L/Cs, contracts, and shipping documents in compliance with buyer and bank requirements.

• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and payment collection.

• Liaise with banks, freight forwarders, and customs authorities for smooth transaction processing.

• Ensure compliance with export regulations, buyer codes of conduct, and local laws.

• Monitor and control commercial costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

• Negotiate with service providers for competitive rates and favorable terms.

• Prepare regular commercial reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in commercial/export-import operations in the sweater or apparel industry.

• Strong understanding of L/C procedures, UCP rules, shipping documentation, and customs regulations.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
