- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in QC, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (sweater industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of sweater production processes and common quality issues.
- Familiarity with buyer compliance standards (e.g., AQL, ISO, WRAP, BSCI).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead our QC team and ensure all products meet buyer specifications and international quality standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of managing quality systems across multiple production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the quality control team across knitting, linking, washing, finishing, and packing sections.
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure product quality and buyer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet buyer requirements.
- Conduct inline and final inspections and provide corrective action plans where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and buyer audits.
- Train and guide QC inspectors and line staff to maintain consistent quality.
- Liaise with merchandising, production, and technical teams to address quality concerns.
- Conduct proactive risk assessments for each confirmed order.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Continuously monitor defect rates and take preventive measures to minimize rework and rejection.
- Possess complete knowledge of all sweater production processes and ensure compliance and quality at every stage.
- Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by management.
