Responsibilities & Context:

Human Resources Management

• Manpower Planning: Manage large-scale recruitment for both staff (white-collar) and workers (blue-collar/line operators), Design organization structure, grading, and manpower plan, onboarding strategy for all levels.

• Payroll & HRIS: Oversee monthly payroll processing, attendance management (biometric), and maintain healthy Industrial Relations (IR) to prevent labor unrest or strikes. Setup annual leave and HRIS systems.

• Performance Management: Implement KRA/KPI-based appraisals for staff and production-linked incentives for workers.

• Training: Organize training framework and skill matrix for performance appraisal and employee engagement programs.

• Policies: Develop HR policies, SOPs, employee handbook and code of conduct.

• Reports: Generate HR analytics and productivity reports.

Administration

• Facility Management: Manage canteen operations, worker transportation, security services, and housekeeping.

• Liaisoning: Act as the primary point of contact for government officials (Labor Department, Pollution Control Board, Electricity Board, etc.).

• Vendor Management: Manage contracts for AMC, stationary, and scrap disposal (leather/rubber waste).

• Set up attendance, overtime and other administration benefits.

• Manage industrial relations, grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.

Compliance & Audit (Critical)

• Complete legal registrations: factory license, trade license, labour registrations, insurance and statutory approvals.

• Prepare compliance documentation and welfare facilities (canteen, medical, daycare, safety committee).

• Prepare and manage buyer audits (BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, ISO 45001, Buyer COC).

• Coordinate safety programs and accident reporting with EHS team.

• Ensure compliance with labour laws, working hours, wages and statutory requirements.

• Handle government inspections and maintain statutory records.

• Conduct internal audits and corrective action implementation
