∎ Bachelor (Hons) degree in any discipline
∎ Master's degree is an added advantage
∎ Higher Diploma/ Degree in Textile/ Clothing or related disciplines is an added advantage
Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Manager to handle orders and productions for our division responsible European/American markets.
∎ Job Location: Baridhara, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working out consumption and developing samples for new enquiries.
∎ Working out requirements of fabrics and accessories and preparing costing.
∎ Liaisoning with overseas counterparts, colleagues, suppliers and vendors.
∎ Oversee an order/s from procurement, production to shipment.
∎ Lead the Teams of merchandisers, quality controllers in both office and factory in order to maintain/achieve quality and production as to specs and standards of the buyers.
∎ Preparing collection for each upcoming season per market.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 55 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Skills Required: Knit, Woven & Denim
∎ Skills Required: Computer Operating, Costing, Merchandising, Spoken English
∎ 8 to 15 years in merchandising in both Knitted and Woven clothes for Europe and American markets.
∎ A track of mixed experience in both garments factory and buying office or Buyers' representative office in Bangladesh is preferred.
∎ Professional Requirements
∎ Command of both English and Bengali
∎ Efficient in written communications
∎ Excellency in verbal communications
∎ Pleasant personality and interpersonal communication skill
∎ Cool headed
∎ Passionate and serious attention into works and responsibility
