Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and manage all the activities of dyeing, sizing, and dyeing lab activities, assuming responsibility for production quantity, quality, cost and delivery.
∎ Develop and execute a workflow plan as per the budgeted targets and direct dyeing and sizing activities to ensure that products are produced within the established time, cost control and quality standards and routinely undertake the a. Check and run the given quality as per planning b. Check and maintain count off and parameter c. Check daily dyeing chemical and yarn chemical d. Check daily progress report e. Provide data to ERP section daily
∎ Manage the dyeing schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and ensure appropriate production inventory control procedures.
∎ Produce good shade, batch quality and beams (in sizing) and ensure that the raw materials and dyed materials always meet customer's requirements.
∎ Coordinate and ensure the department's machinery and equipment are maintained to optimal levels of operation.
∎ Responsible for using set principles and operating practices to establish, maintain and improve the production process.
∎ Control operations cost within approved budgets by evaluating actual expenditures with budgeted costs, taking appropriate actions and ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastage and extra hour work.
∎ Coordinate and direct the staff activities in the dyeing and sizing in consultation with the Denim HR Manager to ensure that company HR policies and procedures are properly administered.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.
∎ Foster a positive and responsive culture whilst ensuring the production schedule is met.
∎ Ensure safety and compliance activities in workplace and maintain a clean and tidy floor.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
