∎ JOB PURPOSE: Analyze the context of financial inclusion and market linkage from poverty and livelihood perspectives; and support BRAC`s existing and new programme to design and integrate the livelihood components. Ensure cross-learning sharing, innovative and best livelihood practices across programme. Support to maintain the quality of programme implementation framework; and capacity development for the same.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the Programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct regular high-level analysis on financial inclusion for the low-income group and identify best practices and alternative channels in the areas of financial literacy, digital financial inclusion for poverty reduction of financial inclusion to generate intellectual and substantive technical knowledge for BRAC livelihood programmes.
∎ Provide high level technical assistance to design and integrate the financial inclusion aspects in the new and existing programme of BRAC and design market linkage interventions following the principles for Market development for relevant BRAC programmes.
∎ Identify sustainable partnerships opportunities with relevant financial institutions, international lenders and development financial institutions in coordination with respective programme.
∎ Evaluate the effectiveness of the programme design, capture learnings and recommend necessary changes to fine tune the programme strategy.
∎ Regular check-in with the respective programmes to track the progress and provide necessary guidance.
∎ Develop financial literacy related contents and provide technical support in designing digital financial services for the targeted group.
∎ Contribute in developing strategies to link target participants with service markets to avail knowledge, quality inputs, technical services and know-how and conduct mapping exercises to identify avenues of linkage with relevant market actors.
∎ Suggest necessary capacity development initiatives to the respective programme for programme design.
