Experience:

• At least 1 years

1. Secondary education and formal technical training in logistics essential.
2. Higher diploma/certification in logistics and/or other relevant certifications desirable.

• At least 1 years

• Age At least 18 years

Experience: Minimum 1 year in MSF or 2 years in a similar position in NGO’s

Language: English and Bangla essential

Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (MS package)

Accountabilities:

1. Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards
2. Ensuring the check and follow-up of facilities under the line manager`s supervision through daily visits to the facilities and reporting any anomalies or problems, evaluation of the rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work according to supervisor`s instructions; checking that premises observe security norms and monitoring the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles/machines/devices
3. Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities of energy systems/set-up according to MSF standards
4. Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person`s task, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities
5. Ensuring the vehicle fleet maintenance which includes planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards and Instructing and monitoring drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks
6. Managing and following up orders which includes collecting logistics orders coming from different departments or health facilities; drawing up and following up orders according to the procedures in force; providing technical support to the storekeeper, makes local purchases according to MSF supply procedures and ensures reception conditions of freight or arriving material as well as the organization and setting up of materials before its shipment

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:

1. Fleet management & Maintenance:
2. Ensure MSF maintenance protocols and SOPs are implemented.
3. Supervise the Head of drivers, and ensure movement is executed in a timely manner.
4. Follow-up on motor fleet legal documentation for 70 vehicles.
5. Premises management:
6. Follow-up on the premises (Office apartments & Warehouse) maintenance.
7. Follow-up on the utilities monthly payments.
8. Ensuring all MSF safety SOPs are implemented and updated.
9. Team management:
10. Manage a team of 10 drivers, 1 Head of Driver & 2 Base and Facilities Officer in Cox’s Bazaar and Dhaka.
11. Leading the team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person`s task, drawing up their working schedules.
12. Organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities.

• 12 month- contract renewable based on performance and operational needs. Salary according to level Six (6) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 68000 Gross). Salary is non-negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule.

• 2 annual leave days per month worked.
