∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Diploma in Engineering in Textile Technology
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience at management level in the knitting industry.
∎ Strong technical expertise in knitting machines, fabric types and knitting process.
∎ Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to multi-task work under pressure.
∎ Communicate clearly and efficiently to team.
∎ Fluent in spoken and written English.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan, organize and monitor daily knitting operations to achieve given target.
∎ Manage knitting manpower to the optimum capacity to ensure maximum productivity.
∎ Ensure machines are always in standard running conditions and running at optimum speed.
∎ Ensure fabric quality is of highest standard and set up action plans to minimize quality issues.
∎ Ensure appropriate training program for new recruits are followed and their progress are constantly monitored and reported.
∎ Ensure minimal production waste and rejects generated across the department.
∎ Communicate with inter-departments across the group.
∎ Ensure all audits are prepared and smoothly followed.
∎ Monthly reporting of knitting production, quality, materials used and consumables used.
∎ Ensure proper housekeeping throughout the department.
∎ Ensure health and safety strictly followed.
∎ Ensure HR policies and procedures are well followed.
